Program Description

Event Description

Learn the basics of 3D printing, then build off of a basic design to create your own magnetic locker pencil holder, which will be printed on the library's 3D printer and donated as part of a school supply kit. This program cannot be successfully completed on a mobile device; use of a desktop or laptop is recommended.

This program will be hosted online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the start of the program. Haven’t used Zoom before? Watch a helpful tutorial by our librarian Alison. Please note that in order to receive community service credit for this program, your camera must be turned on and facing you for the entire length of the program. The librarian must be able to see you working independently on the project.

Certificates for 1.5 hours of community service will only be awarded after completed design files are returned to the library.
