Event Description

Do you like to read and answer trivia questions? Battle of the Books is a county-wide competition of Young Adults who are entering grades 6 through 9. Teams answer trivia questions based on eight different books (everybody reads all 8!) and score points for their team with each correct answer. Longwood was the County Champ back in 2006 – come and help us regain our title!

Join the Teen Services Librarians on the following dates from 6:30-8:30 pm to prepare for the competition: 
Tuesday, June 18
Tuesday, June 25
Tuesday, July 2
Tuesday, July 9
Tuesday, July 16
Mock Battle: Thursday, July 18 from 6-9 pm 
Friday, July 19 from 6:30-7:30 pm 

In-person only registration* at the True North Teen Services Desk begins May 13 at 9:30 A.M.

*Battle of the Books is open to those teens who are entering grades 6-9 only.



Snacks provided may not be suitable for those with food allergies.
