Bookstormers: After-School Book Club for 7th & 8th Graders

Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

Ghost by Jason Reynolds

Running is something that Ghost knows well, and he proves it by challenging the best sprinter on the elite Defenders track team to a race. When he wins, he’s chosen to run on the team. Ghost could be the best sprinter in the city, if he manages to get along with his new teammates and outrun his past. Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
