Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

When You Trap a Tiger by Tae Keller

Lily has always been captivated by the Korean folktales her halmoni tells, but she never imagined they could be real until she finds a magical tiger in Halmoni’s basement. When Halmoni becomes sick Lily, desperate to save her, strikes a deal with the tiger: Recover the stories Halmoni bottled up as a young girl and keep her safe…but will the power of storytelling really be enough to heal Halmoni?  Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
