Friends General Meeting

The election of the Board of the Friends of the Longwood Public will be held at our general meeting on Saturday, June 1 at 11 am. Guest speaker Officer Moira Larmour will give a presentation about personal safety followed by the luncheon.

All are welcome to the general membership meeting. Space is limited for the luncheon and requires a Friends membership card. Individual membership is limited to (1) registration and family membership is limited to 2 registrations. If you do not have a current membership, bring your Friends application to the Reference Desk and a staff member can register you for the luncheon. 

Presently, all Board members are up for election except for Recording Secretary. The current President, 1st Vice President, Corresponding Secretary, and Treasurer are all running for the respective positions. The 2nd and 3rd Vice President positions are vacant, candidates are listed below.
