Sign A Story (Teens)

You’ll spend the first three weeks with Sign Language instructor Jennie Sardone, learning some basic Signs as well as how to Sign the text of several children’s storybooks. Our fourth session will be an actual Children’s Department Storytime, where you will help teach the children the signs for the words while the Librarian reads the stories out loud! You must be able to commit to all four sessions of this program in order to participate.

Everyone who participates will receive a certificate for 4 hours of community service.

Program Dates:
Wednesdays, November 14, November 21, November 28, & December 5
from 6:30-7:30 PM
You must be able to attend all 4 sessions to participate

Registration begins November 1 at 9:30 A.M.

Teen Services Programs are open to those teens who are in grades 7-12 only.
