Event Description

Do you have an interest in quilting but are not sure where to start? This hands-on class will explain the quilt making process from the beginning. You will learn quilting terms and techniques while working on a small table runner project. Materials list available online or at an Adult Reference Desk.

Required materials list: 100% cotton fabric, 1/3 yard light print for blocks, 1/3 medium print for blocks, 1 1/2 yards darker print for borders and backing, craft size low loft batting. In addition please bring the following supplies: fabric scissors, utility scissors, 1 template plastic, mechanical pencil, fine paint permanent marker, 6" x12" acrylic ruler, size 9 hand sewing needles, neutral color thread, and thimble.
