3D Print Requests

Looking to 3D print an object? The library can help! Adult Longwood Public Library cardholders in good standing can submit files to be printed in the color of their choice on our Ultimaker printers by filling out the Print Request Form below. We will take custom and premade designs from Thingiverse, Yeggi, STLFinder, and more.  Learn all about 3D printing here.

The library has four 3D printers, the Ultimaker S3,  Ultimaker S5, and two i3 MK3S Prusas.

3D Printing Fees

Printing fees are $1.00 per hour or $0.50 per 30 minutes.  

Payment is due upon retrieving your print request at the Circulation Desk.

The library does not keep 3D printed items for longer than 14 days. The charge for your 3D item will be added to your library account after 14 days. There are no refunds.

3D Printing Restrictions

Library equipment is to be used only for lawful purposes. The library reserves the right to deny any print requests (view the 3D Printing Policy). There is a limit to one 3D print a month. The library cannot guarantee exact dates that 3D print jobs will be completed.
