Curbside Pickup Mobile Printing

We are now accepting requests for curbside printing! You can print up to twenty pages for free with your library card. Just send us the print job by following the instructions down below. Then give us a call at at 631-924-6400 x252 to schedule a time to come pick up your prints!
 

Forward your email with attachment to:

Or use the app:

  1. Download the PrinterOn App

  2. Once in the app, search for “Longwood”

  3. Select “black and white” or “color” printer and click the star to save

  4. Locate what you would like to print

  5. Enter your email

Call the Adult Reference Desk at 631-924-6400 x252 and schedule a curbside appointment to pick up your printing.

 

Printing from Public Computers

When logged into the library’s public computers, users are entitled to 50 cents worth of free copies per day.  Printing costs are 5 cents for black and white, and 25 cents for color. Wireless printing can be used in the library or from home at the same costs.

 

Printing from a Mobile Device or Laptop Inside the Building
 

To print from your device:

  1. Download the PrinterOn App
     
  2. Once in the app, search for “Longwood”
     
  3. Select “black and white” or “color” printer and click the star to save (to add the other printer: search for “Longwood” again, select the other printer and click the star to save)
     
  4. Locate what you would like to print and enter your email

Retrieve printing at the Print Release Station behind the Reference Desk in the Adult Department
 

Adults print from your laptop/computer:

  1. Visit our Web Portal
     
  2. Select printer (Black and White OR Color), enter email and upload your file
     
  3. Retrieve documents at the Print Release Station in the Adult Department on the second floor
     

Teens print from your laptop/computer:

  1. Visit our Teen Web Portal
     
  2. Select printer (Teen Black and White OR Teen Color), enter email and upload your file
     
  3. Retrieve documents at the Print Release Station at True North 
     

Families with children print from your laptop/computer:

  1. Visit our Children's Web Portal
     
  2. Select printer (Child Black and White OR Child Color), enter email and upload your file
     
  3. Retrieve documents at the Print Release Station in the Children's Department 

Copy

Two photocopiers are available for public use.  The cost is 10 cents per page for standard sized paper. Copies made on 11 x 17 paper are 25 cents each.

 

Scan

Quickly convert those old photos with our Kodak Picture Scanner!  You can scan up to 25 at a time and save to CD or USB.  The library also has a flatbed scanner and a slide/negative scanner available for public use.  The scanners are located in the Adult Department behind the Reference Desk.

 

Fax

Fax to anywhere in the United States during regular business hours for 50 cents per page.  We cannot receive faxes or send faxes to an international fax number.  The fax machine is located in the Adult Department behind the Reference Desk.
