Program Description

Event Description

A Middle-aged man returns to childhood hometown to attend a funeral. The house he grew up in is gone but the old farmhouse at the end of the road still stands, and behind it, a pond. When he was a boy he met the most unusual girl at this pond, Lettie Hempstock. She claimed that the pond was really an ocean. As the man sits by the pond that’s just a pond, memories come flooding back from his childhood. Frightening memories of a man’s suicide and the events that unfolded, and of how Lettie saved his life.
