Event Description

Join the Teen Services Librarians for an online book discussion just for teens in grades 10-12. This month, we'll discuss:

Sheets by Brenna Thummler

Marjorie Glatt has more responsibilities than a typical teenager. Saving the family laundromat, managing school, helping her grieving father and befriending an actual ghost are only some of the things on Marjorie's plate. Join Bookmarker's for our April selection, Sheets by Brenna Thummler as we discuss this moving graphic novel about perseverance, forgiveness and laundry.

Attendees who read the book and participate in the discussion will earn 3 hours of community service credit.

Please note that in order to receive community service credit for this program, your camera must be turned on and facing you for the entire length of the program.

This program will be hosted online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to registrants prior to the start of the program. Haven’t used Zoom before? Watch a helpful tutorial by our librarian Alison.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
