Bookstormers: After-School Book Club for 7th & 8th Graders (Teens)

Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

Aster and the Accidental Magic by Thom Pico

When Aster’s parents uproot her family and move to a  house in the middle of nowhere, Aster is devastated…and bored. With nothing better to do, she sets out to explore the mountains that surround her new home and finds that they are filled with unexpected magic and mischief.

Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School and on Google Meet. A late bus will be provided at 4pm for participants who attend in person, but you must be registered to attend.
