Join the Teen Services Librarians for a monthly book club where we play games, eat snacks, and talk about awesome books! This month, we'll discuss:

The First Rule of Punk by Celia C. Pérez

12-year-old Malú knows that the first rule of punk is to be yourself. When she starts at a new school in Chicago, she has a tough time fitting in. Her passion for punk rock music and creating zines make her an outcast among her peers. Will Malú be strong enough to follow the first rule of punk with everyone rooting against her? Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
