Bookstormers: Book Club for 7th, 8th & 9th Graders (Teens)

Come 'read up a storm!' Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins

When eleven-year-old Gregor follows his sister through a grate in the basement of his apartment building, he discovers something unimaginable – an entire underground world where giant cockroaches, bats and rats live alongside humans. As the fragile peace between the Underlanders is threatened by malevolent rodents, Gregor unwillingly sets out on a quest to save the Underland and find a way home. Soon, Gregor realizes his own fate is tied to the Underland in ways he never could have imagined.

Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.
