Join the Teen Services Librarians for a monthly book club where we play games, eat snacks, and talk about awesome books! This month, we'll discuss:
We Were the Fire: Birmingham 1963 by Sheila P. Moses
The powerful story of an eleven-year-old boy determined to stand up for his rights, who's pulled into the action of the 1963 civil rights demonstrations in Birmingham, Alabama.
Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.
