Program Description

Event Description

We will investigate the fundamental causes of global climate change and survey some of the resulting impacts with a special focus on what they will mean for Long Island. Presenter Dr. E. Christa Farmer earned a B.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Paleoclimatology from Columbia University. She has been teaching classes in global climate change, sedimentology, environmental geology, and oceanography (among others) at Hofstra University since 2004.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. The URL for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants before the program.
