Join historian and professor Rick Feingold for a look at American Bandstand, the groundbreaking weekday TV show that began in 1957. Hosted by Dick Clark, it featured teenagers dancing to Top 40 hits and became must-watch TV for students and their teachers alike. Set in Philadelphia from 1957–1964, the program includes original live performances by Bill Haley and the Comets, Bobby Darin, Little Anthony, the Coasters, Jerry Lee Lewis, Danny and the Juniors, and more.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. The URL for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one day prior to start time.
