Program Description

Event Description

Thirty-five years after the nuclear disaster, feline behaviorist Stephen Quandt visited Chernobyl to participate in a spay/neuter and research campaign for the dogs that were descended from the pets left behind. In this program, he will share his experiences meeting the inhabitants of Chernobyl and the dogs (and some cats!) he encountered.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. The URL for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one hour prior to start time.

Not sure how to use Zoom? Take a tutorial with our Tech Librarian Alison.

*Adult WRC: This is a Winter Reading Club eligible program. Attending this program will earn you one raffle ticket for the prize drawings. See an Adult Services staff member for more information.
