Event Description

Prominent sports journalist and New York Times bestselling author Mike Lupica writes for both youth and adults, and has recently been selected to continue the Robert B. Parker Sunny Randall series. Mr. Lupica will discuss his new book Strike Zone and the most recent Robert B. Parker book Blood Feud. If time permits, he may share highlights about sports journalism. He will answer questions and sign books which will be sold at the event. Doors open 6:00 pm.

In-person registration begins Wednesday, September 4. Phone and online registration begins Thursday, September 5. Each LPL cardholder will be limited to two tickets. Children ages 10 and above are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
