Event Description

Get a tour of the makerLAB and learn how you and your child can use our equipment to make kid-friendly projects like iron-ons for T-shirts or tote bags, buttons, custom mugs, and more! Take a tour of our Cricut Design Space software, and then watch a live demo on using the Cricut to make an iron-on t-shirt. We will also help answer any questions you may have about the materials needed for making your own projects in the makerLAB. Each registered child will get to make their own custom button on our button maker!

Please note that younger siblings cannot be accommodated in this program due to the space and materials in this space.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
