Program Description

Event Description

Join us and the Group for the East End at Downs Farm Preserve in Cutchogue, a 51-acre preserve on the North Fork with a rich history. We will stroll the grounds with particular attention to the newly installed native wildflower meadow and thicket. You will learn about native plants, why the species you will observe were chosen and how they support our native wildlife while being aesthetically pleasing to us. Bring your questions about native plant gardens and we will do our best to answer them all! Weather permitting
