Event Description

Children who register for this techy program will be emailed a video tutorial created by librarian Miss Danielle, which will show them how to design a 3D printed project using a free web-based software called Tinkercad. Those children who create their own design in Tinkercad can then email the file to Miss Danielle, who will print it and have it ready for pick-up at the library.

Please note: using Tinkercad requires a grown-up to create an account for their child before they are able to use the website/software.

Please be sure your email is correct as the instructional video will be emailed to you on April 8th.

Designs must be emailed to Miss Danielle by April 22. Instructions for emailing will be provided in the video.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
