Event Description

Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

The Menagerie by Tui T. Sutherland and Kari Sutherland

Hidden in the small town of Xanadu, Wyoming, there is a menagerie filled with mythical creatures like unicorns, dragons, and phoenixes. It's closely guarded. Tightly controlled. Top secret. And six griffin cubs have just escaped. After Logan Wilde finds one hiding under his bed, he teams up with Zoe Khan, whose family has been guarding the Menagerie for centuries, to get the cubs back where they belong. Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

The snacks provided may not be suitable for those with food allergies.

Registration begins November 14 at 9:30 A.M.

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
