Bookstormers: After-School Book Club for 7th & 8th Graders

Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

Making Friends by Kristen Gudsnuk

Seventh grade isn't as easy as Danielle thought it would be, especially after she inherits a magical sketchbook. In need of a new best friend, Danielle draws Madison - who springs to life right off the page! She also draws her favorite cartoon villain, Prince Neptune, who gives her advice about her new rocky friendship with Madison. When Prince Neptune comes to life and goes on a rampage during a school pep rally, Danielle and Madison must work together to stop him. Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

The snacks provided may not be suitable for those with food allergies.

Registration begins April 10 at 9:30 A.M.

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
