Event Description

The Longwood Public Library is joining the Longwood Victory Garden at Bartlett Pond Park, and we need your help to get our garden bed started! We will be growing vegetables that we will donate to our local soup kitchen, and we are looking for teens who are interested in gardening to help us plant, weed and harvest all summer long!  We will meet every Monday evening from June 17 through August 26 from 5-6pm. Sign up for one or more weeks of service and fun in the sun! Please dress appropriately for the weather and for working in the garden, and bring a water bottle and sunscreen if needed. You are responsible for providing your own transportation to and from Bartlett Pond Park.

Certificates for 1 hour of community service are awarded at each session.

Registration begins June 1 at 9:30 A.M.
