Event Description

The History of Ireland in Song

This is a multi-media showcase where songs are played by the artist that made the song popular. Kevin Westley will bring together the music as it relates to topics such as the United Irishmen, Penal Laws, Lilting, the Great Hunger, Emigration, Irish Wakes, Sea Shanties, and more. Listen while learning interesting historical facts about Ireland. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
