Program Description

Event Description

The NYC Municipal Archives are a valuable source for researching vital (birth, marriage and death) records for the city’s five boroughs which includes Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island. The class discussion, presented by Genealogy Instructor Carol Proven, will also include other records available at the archives; the history of Ellis Island and an actual family case study.
