Event Description

Please join us on a tour hosted by biologist Eric Powers.  Ranger Eric will teach us about the variety of seals around Long Island and will take us to observe a variety of species of seals.

*Check the weather for Westhampton Beach and be prepared for the weather, i.e., wear warm clothing in layers (outerwear should be in muted colors) Hats, gloves, and warm waterproof shoes. Winds will produce wind chill.

*The weather date for hazardous or very rainy conditions is Sunday, February 16

*Drinking water, cameras and binoculars are recommended.

*You will need to provide your own transportation to Cupsogue Beach in Westhampton. *We will meet at 11:00 am and depart on our walk from the area near the fence at the western end of the parking lot.
