Let's talk Tea Time! Learn how to make 3 different kinds of tea sandwiches: Avocado, Cucumber Dill and Cranberry Chicken Salad. We will teach you how to make scones and clotted cream. (Find the recipes here.)
Each kit will contain the non-perishable ingredients for the scones only, a recipe card and a YouTube link so you can make this recipe along with the Baking Coach. For the scone recipe you will need to have the following ingredients on hand: 1 stick of butter and 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream. For the clotted cream recipe you will need 1 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of sour cream.
For the tea sandwiches you will need the following:
Avocado Sandwich requires guacamole and 1 brick of cream cheese
Cucumber Dill Sandwich requires 1 cup mayo, garlic clove, 1 cucumber and 1 brick of cream cheese and fresh dill
Cranberry chicken salad requires ½ pound cooked boneless, skinless chicken, ¼ onion, 2 stalks celery, ½ cup mayo, salt and pepper.
Plus bread for the sandwiches, of course!
A staff member will call all registrants on Wednesday, April 14 to schedule curbside pick-up appointments. Kits must be picked up by Monday, April 19 or your kit may be given to those on the waitlist. Due to anticipated high demand, only one kit per household.
