Teens And Adult Book Discussion (Teens)

Come and be part of our book discussion that combines teens and adults! We’ll be reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas, the story of how sixteen-year-old Starr Carter’s life changes when she witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. We invite teens in grades 9-12 to participate. You may pick up a copy of the book at the Circulation Desk beginning January 5.

Everyone who participates will receive a certificate for 3 hours of community service.

Registration begins January 5 at 9:30 A.M.

This program is open to teens who are in grades 9-12 only.
