Program Description

Event Description

This live-lecture presentation by an astronomy educator uses the Reichert Planetarium’s Starball to show the audience what the Long Island night sky above them will look like on the very day they visit. This “traditional” planetarium program highlights seasonal constellations, stars, and year-round celestial events. This program is not suitable for young children.

There is a limit of 4 tickets per LPL cardholder and tickets are non-refundable.

The tickets are will-call. The night of the show an LPL staff member will check you in at the planetarium starting 7:30 pm for the 8 pm show.

You must provide your own transportation to the planetarium. Please arrive at 7:30 pm to be checked in for the 8:00 pm show. No admittance will be allowed into the planetarium after the show has started.
