Program Description

Event Description

For young Jewish men in the American military, World War II had particularly high stakes. They served both as Americans and as Jews in this greatest of human conflicts, determined to defeat Nazi Germany at all costs. Filmmaker Alan Feinberg, who produced the award-winning documentary Bagels Over Berlin, will discuss their experiences and heroism with a focus on the US Army Air Corps, which suffered the highest mortality rates among the branches of the armed forces. After a brief introduction we will watch his 70 minute documentary. There will be a Q&A with the producer after the screening.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting.  You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one hour prior to start time.
