Program Description

Event Description

We will explore the accomplishments of women who never made it into the history books with historian and educator Howard Rosenberg. Lean about such historical figures as Anna Coleman Ladd who created prosthetic masks for disfigured WWI soldiers, the Radium girls who painted watch dials for use by soldiers in the trenches and a special guest appearance by Retired Colonel Sylvia Moran who was in the first class of women admitted into the West Point Academy in 1976!

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting.  You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one hour prior to start time.

Not sure how to use Zoom? Take a tutorial with our Tech Librarian Alison.
