Program Description

Event Description

Through letters and official documents found in a shoebox in his mother’s closet after her death in 2009, Roads Scholar instructor Yonatan Kohn shares the twists and turns of his family’s attempts to flee Czechoslovakia. His engaging account of events that unfolded 80 years ago is both an intimate portrait of personal crisis and a sweeping, timeless story of what it means to be a refugee.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting.  You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one hour prior to start time.
